Jackie Rubano was raised in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and resided there until 1991. At the age of 24, she began her training and education at Pace University which qualified her to serve as a Real Estate Appraiser. She enjoyed a successful career in this field, appraising residential and commercial properties in the five boroughs, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
In 1992 Jackie moved to Massapequa Park with her husband and two small children. In 1993 she had her third child and enjoyed the many amenities this area offers to all residents. During this time, while raising her children, she volunteered at a local outreach shelter and provided meals for the homeless. She continues to enjoy an ongoing relationship with Birthright of Nassau/Suffolk and Mama's House, where she provided counseling to those in distressed situations. Jackie also provided child care to those in need of assistance.
